Easter at DRM

As if holidays here in the South aren’t already full of cooking, family, traveling, crowded houses, too many cars for one driveway, loud music, and a little bit of beautiful chaos… Dirt Road Ministry likes to take it one step further. We add a whole lot of Jesus to it.
We started the day bright and early with our Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. We gathered around the campfire for praise and worship, shared breakfast together, and spent time in fellowship. There were so many family members and friends with us, and that alone was such a blessing.
Later on, Dirt Road Ministry held our 5th Annual Easter Extravaganza, and to say the turnout was incredible would be an understatement. When the final count was taken, we had 101 people gathered with us. Some were visiting with loved ones, some were brand new faces—but every single person was welcomed like they belonged. And they did.
The day was filled with everything you could hope for—great music, good food, laughter, fellowship, a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt, and powerful moments of worship. You could feel the joy in the air, but even more than that, you could feel God moving.
But the most beautiful part of it all? Fourteen people gave their lives to the Lord**. **Fourteen lives changed. Fourteen hearts surrendered. Fourteen new beginnings. We were incredibly blessed to witness those baptisms, and even now, God is still working—because we already have someone preparing to rededicate her life in the near future.
Days like this are more than just events. They’re reminders. Reminders that God is still moving, still reaching people, and still changing lives right in front of us. And we’re just grateful to be a small part of it.
